Once again, we've had a stellar Burn, its this chance to float the playa with you that keeps us coming back out to play and learn. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We know without you, our family, friends, guests, companions, compadres and amigos, "THE DOGFISH" wouldn't roll. That said, again our deep heart felt thanks for sharing your precious time cocktailing with us in this vanishing city we've come to call home for DAZE each year.

Those of you who haven't a clue the who, what, when, where, and/or why, here's a quick low-down. What now has become "CAMP DOGFISH" is the culmination of many lessions and years spent in the disappearing city known to us as the BRC or Black Rock City. It's in this city that this special collection of friends/allies have come together at the tail end of the Nevada summer consecutively for many years now to celebrate "Burning Man". "The Governor", our camp's humble host, has managed to, without fail, not only bring together our fun team of friends but has brought SOOOO many good times, smiles, and lasting impressions to this city of universal light that he truly deserves his title as an official of some sort. As he, in many ways, represents the hospitality, generosity, consistency and willingness to grow and learn that this experimental city seems to be trying to instill in people. The priceless group of friends/ campmates/crew that "The Governor" has pulled together for sailing the ever evolving mutant vehicle "THE DOGFISH" are the most precious of gems. The Sweed & Jen, Ozzy, Air Force One, Bar Back, Big Daddy & Momma, Tigger, Craven & Teresa, Joe and  Me (Way Deep) have been thrilled to return year after year to this magical group. I think, and I'm sure "The Governor" would agree, the true treasure to rise from this dusty, dry lake bed has been this beautiful circle of friends. Freddy & Dalton, Dough Boy, The Mayor, and  Shooter, our friends at United: Cole, Mike, and Larry, Station #5 : Mike, Julie, Amillia are without a doubt key links in our circle without whom the "DOGFISH" wouldn't be the remarkable experience that it was this year and in years past. Thanks, you mean the world to us!!!!!

Seemingly one of the First Bar-Car's out rolling the developing playa, for years now we've been pouring our hospitality and welcoming spirits out to the hard working Burners from all over the world as their visionary works were coming to life. Many of you visiting this site now may have found it by the site listing on the shirts and shorts that found their way into your "Burning Man" memories. We're so glad you came for a visit. If you have a sec while your here please sign our guestbook and if you managed to capture some good photos of the wild times you had with us please fire them off in our direction, we'd love to add them to our collection.

Black Rock City is a truly special place with many roads, tangents and dimensions. It is an ever changing idea that we at "CAMP DOGFISH" have been blessed with the chance to participate in. Each year that "THE DOGFISH"  has spun through this maze of a city, we have been touched and taught by the way our senses have been engaged. We've seen, smelled, heard, tasted and touched this experience and found that its worth all the hard work that it takes to come out and grow this "Burning Man" community.

Well, not much I need to say, because once again Joey (Way Deep) has hit the nail on the head about our wonderful and insane 2008 and the years past. My thanks to all of our old friends, new friends, family, campmates, our little community, and all of you burners that our paths havn't crossed yet. Don't panic we always camp on the outer ring road between 4:30 and 5:00 and the DOGFISH will be cruising the playa in 2009!!  Please check back with us ... we'll be adding more pictures and progress on the art project were going to erect on the playa.
